Sadly, we’ve decided to put an end to the chapter of our lives known as Four Dumb Kids. We’ve been very lucky to play all over the country and put out a few records and are eternally grateful to the people that have helped us to do that. It’s been a lot of fun. There’ll be a new band of some description rising from the ashes soon, but this is the end of the road for FDK.

We’ve got one last gig: Saturday 16th December 2006 at the DNR Bar in Sheffield with Leatherface, Pot Kettle Black and Wat Tyler. Mint! Tickets are selling out quickly I’m told, so get on to the No Rules website (http://www.no-rules.co.uk) before it’s too late! It’d be lovely to see some familiar faces for one last time.

Our final recordings will be available in the not-too-distant future: two new tracks will be on a limited run split 7” with our Finnish friends The Phoenix Foundation. There’s an MP3 up on the website, or on our Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/fourdumbkids). We’ve also got a track (the last song we ever recorded!!) on the forthcoming Leatherface Tribute album on Rubber Factory Records, along with some incredible bands.

Much love, Four Dumb Kids x
